Boudreaux, what's up with your girl and all these reports? Looks like Ox(talk about a guy who can't talk about ethics issues) and Deal are trying to smear her every way they can....

I think her campaign says it best. Let me just say that I have worked personally with Karen and know her to be extremely ethical and a sharp CEO. She did a great deal to get rid of corruption at Fulton County when she was the Chair of that Commission.
We knew the false attacks would come, and they arrived last night courtesy of John Oxendine, the same day that Sarah Palin endorsed Karen.
Reeling from media reports of federal and state corruption investigations, questionable fundraising practices and contributor shake downs, Insurance Commissioner John Oxendine is putting those funds to use in a desperate, last minute attack to stop Karen Handel's momentum one week before the primary.
His ad is completely false. Recycling old and already debunked accusations concerning Karen's views on life and spending, Georgia's own "walking ethics complaint" hopes that by smearing Handel he can stop his campaign's free fall.
The source for his claim that Fulton County’s budget increased under Karen Handel points to an article about Karen cutting spending and reducing the size of the budget she had just inherited two months prior.
More attacks will come with just one week to go. We need your help today so we can respond. Please make a donation to Karen’s campaign today! The good old boys are reeling and are running scared. Send them a message today that Karen will not be deterred. The days of profiting from the taxpayers and unethical leadership are over.
Thank you for your support of Karen.
Handel for Governor Team
With just under a week to go, John Oxendine and Nathan Deal have hit the airways with negative, untrue attacks on Karen Handel. Now we know why.
A poll released yesterday, that was conducted last Thursday – before our TV ads started running and Governor Sarah Palin’s endorsement -- shows that Karen has opened up a 14 point lead on the two. The results of the survey from Magellan Strategies are:
"A Magellan Strategies survey of 1,227 likely Republican primary voters finds Secretary of State Karen Handel has a 14 point lead over her nearest opponent. Handel is getting 32% of the vote, while former Congressman Nathan Deal and Commissioner of Insurance John Oxendine are statistically tied for second with 18%. Senator Eric Johnson has 12%, Jeff Chapman and Ray McBerry both garner 3%, while 14% remain undecided. The 1,227 interviews were conducted Thursday night, July 8th from 6 to 8 pm. This survey has a margin of error of +/-2.8% at the 95 percent confidence interval."
We knew the attacks would come once the politicians felt threatened by Karen’s plan to reform state government. After all, they can’t defend their unethical behavior and secret deals with the state, so they have to attack the candidate who is going to bring an end to the ‘status quo’ and ‘business, as we know it’. And that is just what we are seeing.
With just days to go Nathan Deal and John Oxendine are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars attacking Karen with untrue attacks. In Nathan Deals ad, he even hides behind an unidentified female to do his dirty work for him. But Karen will not be deterred. She is committed to real ethical reform, creating jobs, improving education and transportation, and bringing bold new leadership to the office.
We need your help to respond to the barrage of negative attacks. Make a donation today in any amount you can afford. Put a yard sign up. Put a bumper sticker on your car. Take a friend with you and vote early for Karen. Say enough is enough of the slash and burn politics of our opponents.
Thank you for your support of Karen.

Thank you for all the support and encouragement you have given me over the past 15 months. We are now in the final hours of the primary election and we clearly have the momentum.
A new poll released today by WSB-TV Channel 2 shows us with a strong lead going into the election. But we expect a very low turnout, so anything can happen. Please don’t let up as we near the finish line.
My message of creating jobs, lowering taxes, cutting the size of government, and providing strong, ethical leadership is clearly resonating.
When the status quo is challenged, politicians get desperate. A panic set in with some of our opponents in this race. Everything but the kitchen sink has been thrown at us.
They have spent $1 million in false, negative attacks over the past week. In some of the mailers they did not even put their name on the false attacks. And Republicans all across Georgia have seen right through them.
Ironically, the attacks come from two politicians who were Democrats when Bill Clinton was running for President and I was working for the Vice President and Mrs. Quayle in the White House. I am a lifelong conservative, pro-life Republican.
The new poll released today by WSB shows us with a lead going into Election Day: Karen Handel 28 Nathan Deal 17 Eric Johnson 14 John Oxendine 13
While we are encouraged, we cannot take anything for granted. Please be sure to vote tomorrow. Encourage your friends, family and co-workers to go to the polls tomorrow and vote for me. We have all worked too hard to let up now.
Thank you again for your support and I hope you will be able to join us tomorrow for our Victory Party in Atlanta.
Sincerely, Karen

I've been doing some reading on her and it appears that those two tell about half the story....politics at it's finest!!! Kelly asked me about Karen being a Liberal...I asked her where she heard that and she said, "Well, John Oxendine says....". I said, "Stop, that's all I need to hear. Trust me, he is a so full of sheet his eyes are brown. I'm still voting for her." Rock on sista!

The former Demoncrat says Karen is liberal. He obviously has never worked with Karen Handel! She's a flaming conservative! Think Palin would endorse a liberal?
