My sympathies for his family and I hope the family of Mary Jo Kopechne has some peace and closure now. Maybe I am wrong, but I really don't feel that sorry for him.

Me either. He made poor decision throughout his life that affected not only his life, but took the life of MJK and lowered the quality of life for so many of the hard working, tax paying citizens of the US just to stay in power by "buying" the votes of the non-working citizens and those bleeding hearts that support them.

Prayers sent for his family but I agree with yall. The man got away with something terrible. I think the dems are screwing up royaly trying to use him as a rallying cry for Obamacare.
