I wonder how my granddaughter would enjoy going? It's about time to get her a .22, isn't it? I just bought my son a 12 ga. He now has a .410, 16, 20, and a 12 ga. Of course, he has a .22 and a .308 also.

To give you the complete run-down: Topper 48 .410 single shot. This was my first shotgun, and my dad's first shotgun. It will be the first shotgun given to my son as well. Remington Sportsman 48 16 ga semiauto. This was my dad's cousin's gun that she dove hunted with back in the 50's and 60's. Remington 1100LT 20 ga semiauto. Got a sweet deal on it. It may have been fired 10 times, and it came with 2 barrels and 3 screw in chokes. I bought the synthetic stock/forearm in youth model for him, and put up the wood full-size ones for now. (He also has a Benelli Nova 20 ga in full camo that his 12 year old cousin in Broussard, LA is currently borrowing.) Beretta Pintail 12 ga fully camo'ed. Again, a pretty sweet deal. Comes with all factory chokes + 2 briley chokes. Ruger 10/22 that my dad has already given to him. Remington 700 .308 with a synthetic youth stock and a beautiful wood adult stock. Again, picked this up at a dang good deal. I think that at 2 1/2, he's got plenty of hunting guns.

I think that at 2 1/2, he's got plenty of hunting guns. well, he already has more guns than I do. I like those Model 48's. My dad had one in 20 ga for awhile and I asked him not to sell it but he did anyways. I can't be too upset because he found me a 1974 Near Mint 20 ga 1100 a couple of years ago that I bought for $300.
