I got a text from Red today when he got to Memphis. Just letting y'all know I'm now living in Baton Rouge and am not in TN anymore. I'm at some strange chick's house who said she knows a feller named Randy, who lives in Atlanta, but is originally from around here somewhere. Y'all know him? She's cute and blonde and .... anyway.... Lost my job one day and landed this one the day after. I'm truly blessed. I know some of you coonas$es will be REALLY jealous! ;D I'll be online again soon enough, and GO BIG F'ING ORANGE Wes

I worked in Baton Rouge for a short time in the late 80s and early 90s. Not a bad place.
I did not live in East Baton Rouge Parish, though. Livingston Parish for me!

If you're a duck hunter, you're gonna be in heaven this fall.
Red Stick ain't a bad area to live. And you're gonna love the food!

Yep, Denham Springs is where I'm residng now. Livingston Parish. I love it down here, but my liver may suffer. These folks are crazy! Good people, but friggin crazy.
Boudreaux, I gave up duck hunting a few years ago, but look forward to taking it back up. It's a must.
This weekend the specks should be right if the wind would settle down. I can't wait.
Purple and gold is everywhere so I met y'all halfway and bought some Southeastern gear. My orange doesn't go over too well. Will NOT wear the purple and gold. Mama would roll over in her grave.
I'm in NOLA twice a week and still haven't seem Angie and Brad. I'm gonna stalk them

Denham Springs is where I lived. Actually north of there in a little town called Watson. But the mailing address was Denham Springs. I has changed much since I lived there 18+ years ago...

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the well wishes.
Dutch, Denham is great! I'm really loving it down here. I bet I've gained 10 lbs, no joke. Food is great, beer is cold, and the women are hot.
I haven't caught a single fish... just too dang windy. But I've caught a buzz or two.
Whenever anyone comes down here, send me a PM and I'll give you my number. Beer is on me.

Go to Tiger Stadium singing Rocky Top, and you'll find out how true that statement is! ;D
