Wish he'd been Gov when Katrina hit. I believe the the situation would have been handled much better.

He's an early favorite. GOP is already trying to get him into the spotlight.

I like him. He's a real conservative which is refreshing. I think he and Palin would do a great job but there is no way they will be elected. The hatred for Palin on the left is stunning. She must really scare the crap out of them.
But if the The One keeps screwing up, and I'm confident that he will, the country might be so sick of the far left loon Dems that they would be receptive the Jindal/Palin. We'll just have to see. Newt/Jindal would be my ticket of choice but a lot would really have to happen before that could be a real possibility.
Right now the weapon of choice against Jindal is that he isn't a good public speaker. Again this could be an asset in four years because that would be a stark contrast to the The Simpleton Messiah.

Maybe Jindal/Rice '12? Two folks of color, both conservatives, one a woman. We all know why the blacks voted for Obama, might as well use it to our advantage. I think it's olny a matter of time before he hangs himself....pardon the pun. He's so overextended on promises there's no way he can make good on them. Red

After the Slobbering Love Affair that he enjoyed during the campaign, there is no where for him to go but down. He's not going to be able to fake it and talk his way through these four years. There's just too much going on right now and the financial crisis is only one part of it. He's going to be exposed for what he is, an empty suit who recites campaign slogans. Give it another six months and the moderate Dems will turn on him in increasingly large numbers. In a year the press will slowy start to turn on him. People stupidly vote their wallets and he's going to raid everybody's. Oh well, we tried to tell them.
