Any of you boys in the deep south still hunt wild birds. Or has everything in GA gone the way of pen raised?

If I don't make it through this time (slight time crunch to get down there, hunt, and get back) I'll definitely stop in the weekend of March 6-7. Me and some buddies are headed down to Orlando to catch some Braves Spring Training. We'll be coming through All-binny on 75 thursday evening and Sunday evening.

Uh, doc, I don't mean to be the bearer of bad tidings, but if you stay on 75, you'll miss Allbinny by quite a good piece... I grew up hunting wild birds around Suwanee, GA. We had a few coveys areound and I had permission to hunt hundreds and hundreds of acres near the Chattahoochee River bottoms. Used to be some good hunting before all them houses went up around there. Biggest covey I ever got into was in the bottoms next to the Chattahoochee. There were 100 birds in that bunch or I'm not sitting here. Hunting the singles was some kind of fun that day!

I know where Albany is, Dutch. 40 miles is a lot closer to it than I am now, so I'm thinking Red and I can work something out to meet up around Tifton.
