Anybody in here ever wanted to enroll in a college level course or courses just for fun?
There are a number of things I'm interested in that I know that my local college offers under-grad courses in that I've never taken. I'd like to enroll just to go in and see what some instructor had to say about some of these things. I'd like to hear some good brisk discussion about things other than politics, religion, or the SEC.
I already have a degree in my chosen field, but I want to go back and just jump around in courses in areas I'm interested in. Will they let you do that at local colleges?

I'm sure the college will accept "non-degree" students. But, no, I've never entertained the thought of going back to school. May be that after I self-studied and took study programs to pass a few professional exams, I had gotten enough.

I'm not an adult yet so this does not apply to me.

I'm going to check in with the good folks at Gainesville State and see what they're going to charge me to drop into a class or two. I want to do some REAL pot stirrin' in a history class or two...

I took a History of the American Civil War class while at Tech. You talkin' about stirring the pot... Actually had a pretty good professor who wasn't much of a revisionist at all, but the kids in the class with me had no clue. That, and my class on the French Revolution, were probably the most fun classes I took.
