Mr. President! Free Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean! An injustice has been done! In October of 2006, Border Patrol Agents Jose Alonso Compean and Ignacio Ramos were sentenced to 12 and 11 years in prison, respectively, by U.S. District Court Judge Kathleen Cardone in El Paso, Texas. The illegal alien they were attempting to apprehend for drug smuggling went free. President George W. Bush will soon leave office, and a presidential pardon is the only hope these men have of returning to their families. Please join fellow GOPUSA activists in petitioning President Bush for a full pardon for Agents Jose Compean and Ignacio Ramos. www.capwiz.com/gopusa/issues/alert/?alertid=12179381&PROCESS=Take+Action

You're not confused, the liberal judge is. Go to the web site and send an email to have the pardoned!

I sent the request. I was in Southern Arizona last week and we went threw two different road blocks- with a blond wife and two kids in the back seat arguing away in perfect English I guess we did not fit the profile but some of the folks we saw at rest areas/gas stations would give you reason to be nervous. Side note- saw no less than 4 normal "citizens" walking around with a side arm. They take their carry law serious.
