I don't know what the sound is called or which bird makes it, but that noise made when a hunter sucks on one of those wing bone calls - heard that this morning. Also some peeping and cooing. Patterned the new-to-me 26" barrel on the Browning Gold with Browning Xtra full choke at 35 yards. I pulled the first one to the right but was more careful on the 2nd. Even on the pull to the right there are at least 10 pellets that would have killed the bird.

#6 I believe.
2nd target has about 100 pellets in the 8" circle at 35 yards.

You ought to give the Hevi 13 #6s a look. You'll probably double that.

I need to shoot up what I got first. I ain't got your kind of $$$ to be spending on Hevi when I gots other shells that need to be shot.

Lol, they're not expensive. You only need one box!!! You can pattern with two and kill with the other three.
