Gets to play in the SECCG while UGA's team gets to watch...thanks Mark, that "Georgia Way" BS is really paying dividends.

Richt has done more to raise the standard of UGA football than any other coach there!
Consistent success and winning seasons. As I've said before, UGA just is not an elite program, never has been, never will be. A once in a life time tailback was only able to beat kismet 1 out of the 3 years he played for UGA. Just a blip on the screen 30 years ago.
Richt has UGA right where it is supposed to be in the universe.

Nope, UGA can be an elite program only with an elite coach. We have the talent, but not the staff or the support of the admins. Michael Adams(may he burn slowly in hell) was another huge problem. Richt was his guy, and he wanted UGA to be Vanderbilt part deux. UGA makes WAAAAAY more money than most of the SEC but ranks near the bottom when it comes to spending it. We'll be the last with an indoor practice facility, and the only reason we're getting that is Pruitt. When you look at the programs that spend the most in the SEC you'll see UA, LSU, UF, AU, and UT. What do those schools have in common that UGA doesn't? A national championship in the last 20 years. I've said it 100 times - Richt doesn't hate losing more than he enjoys winning and that is what separates great coaches from 9-3 coaches.
Richt is no better than Donnan on paper. If he wants to be the Director of Player Relations, fine. He doesn't need $4mm to accomplish that. He gets paid to win games, not be a surrogate father figure.

You speak with forked tongue, white man! You say that UGA won't spend the $$$, which is the problem. But then you blame Richt. Which is it?

I agree with Bratley. UGA is a lil lower on the overall screen then an Oklahoma State! above a Vandy or a step above Kentucky.

Speak for yourself! LSU has retained Les Miles and he's going to: 1. Recruit and develop a decent QB. 2. Update his 1990's Big 10 offence strategy to one appropriate for 2015 that is a little less predictable. 3. Implement the short passing game. 4. Provide team discipline so that LSU gets more 1st downs than penalties each game. 5. Develop a game plan based on the opponents strengths/weaknesses instead of thinking his team's talent can overcome the opponent's strength. 6. Learn to make in-game adjustments to the game plan. 7. Take clock management 101.
Now that Les has been told to update or hit the road, LSU is on it's way to the 2016 National Championship lead by the best coach in the country!
