I'll be hanging in a hardwood bottom with the ol stck and string... Gwinnett county deer taste good I have been eating them all my life. It's nice to have another great place for me and my boy to go! I'm due to score. I have let so many bucks walk the last 6 or 7 years and taking my boy so I feel like it's time!!!!

Walked up on a doe going in Saturday morning. She was 10 feet away when I saw her. We practiced our "stare down" look on each other for about 5 minutes. I whistled at her and she turned around and walked away.
Saturday evening was brutal. I was sweating like a hog when I got to my stand and it took 45 minutes to dry out once I was in the stand. Typical archery opening day. The weatherman called for 84 degrees in Pine Mountain. He lied. it was 91 with about 90% humidity.

Finally got my trails cut, now hanging stands. Mostly scout bow season. I like the loud sticks better

He can't shoot that far with his .308, though.
